| FAQ Who are boudoir photo sessions for anyway? They're for anyone! They're for women who want to surprise their lover with something special for a birthday, holiday or just because. They're for women who want to celebrate their bodies. They're for women who want to show off how great they look now that they've lost weight and met a fitness goal -- if even only for themselves. They're for women who want to capture professionally just how great they look now. They're for any kind of woman -- of any age. In short, they're for you! What should I bring to a shoot? Firstly, if you plan on doing any full nudity come to the shoot without any underwear on, wearing loose clothing. Clothing pressure lines take half an hour to disappear! If you don't plan on doing any full nudity -- bring comfortable clothes, a robe, an extra change of outfits if you so choose and a great attitude. You can bring music if you wish. What about a friend, escort? As a general rule, I have to say no. But given the nature of this type of photography, I can understand the desire to have someone there for encouragement and to help you feel more at ease. So everyone is allowed to bring one friend for personal shoots. For marathons, we may be working in a relatively confined space so there may be more restrictions for a marathon shoot. If you're going to include a friend in the shoot you may bring up to two people -- one who will not be involved and another who will also have a shoot. Please, no kids either. As an additional note... anyone you bring with you is not permitted to take photos or videos. If they do, the session will end and all photos will be deleted, you will not receive a refund and that friend will not be permitted on future shoots, should you decide to rebook. Can I drink on set? I won't provide alcohol. That being said, if you do want to have a drink or two that isn't a problem. But please limit yourself to one or two drinks maximum. You'll look better in photos the less you have! What should I do to prepare for my shoot? I ask that you have a manicure and pedicure before hand because it will help you look and feel your best. Please also keep in mind your hygiene and anything else that may be going on in your life -- this should be a relaxing and fun experience. While it is exciting, please also make sure you get a good night's sleep before your shoot too -- it will help you look and feel better. Do I really have to pay everything in advance? No. You do have to pay your entire sitting fee in advance as a part of that goes toward paying the hair and make-up artist for your shoot in addition to securing any locations, etc... You can choose to pay for books, folios, prints and other products any time after the shoot. Will my picture be online? Maybe. It depends on whether or not you sign the release form. If you sign the release form and indicate that I can use your photo online, then I may use it online. But if you wish, it doesn't have to be. Additionally, you may ask that a false name be used with your photos or that only photos that don't include your face be used. What's a boudoir marathon? This is our most affordable method of getting the high quality boudoir photos you're looking for. We only offer them every two months and each marathon only has a few time slots available.
